Philosophy of Yoga

word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word yuj, which means to join or merge. The word means to join or merge the functions of the soul from the body mind and spirit. The purpose of this association is to achieve a happy, balanced and useful.

For centuries, the paths of yoga are very specialized. Yoga philosophy comes from several sources and has taught and written in many different teachers. Over time, different teachers have developed their own methods and philosophies. Yoga Sutras written over 2200 years and brought together all the known theories and practices of the time. Many yoga today is rooted in the original teachings.

Surprisingly, the Sutras are still very impressive and in-depth study of the human psyche. Teachers adjusted their interpretations of the sutras is the time in which they work. Objectives have always been to achieve a perfect balance with the union of body and mind.

The yogis believe that the body is the main tool of our work and growth. Therefore, proper care of the body allows students to realize their potential and achieve the right balance. To achieve and maintain our balance, exercise, breathing and meditation are practiced. Only then can we be in balance with our environment.

While there are many forms of yoga practiced today, there are six primary branches.

Hatha Yoga – This yoga is the most common route is taught in the West. Hatha Yoga includes physical cause (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation to achieve health and spirituality. Bhakti yoga – The path is very popular in India. Emphasis is placed on the heart and dedication. The yogis encourage us to find the “A” in everyone and everything. Develop the ability to accept and love, we will be dedicated to the “A”.

Raja Yoga – The path of yoga, which is described in the King of yoga. Self-discipline is the heart of Raja Yoga. Most practitioners of Raja Yoga are religious or spiritual orders. The lessons of this pathway to develop about eight members of the yoga sutras. In fact it is an essential and convenient to reach self-esteem by learning to control himself.

Jnana Yoga – the mind is at the center of Jnana Yoga practitioners. Develop their own intelligence, a man no restrictions, so that the mind can absorb more wisdom. This path allows the human experience of other religions and philosophies of the open and common sense are needed to fully develop the mind.

Karma Yoga – Karma Yoga is the path to the service stresses that the current situation based on past actions. Yoga is not a religion. In fact, yoga people engaged in many different religions. Yoga is a set of techniques that allow us to develop and understand our spirituality. Likewise, yoga is not exercise plan even if the exercise is to develop physical fitness, which allows us to do better emotionally. However, the practices of yoga, we aim to develop the mental side and physical side. More than anything else, yoga is a spiritual quest, which includes improving the health, happiness, peace and knowledge of basic benefits.

Heart disease is a general term that describes a number of conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels.
